The Trinity Chapel
Modibbo Adama University, Yola
The church is not a building – it's a people.
The Trinity Chapel was started sometime in February, 1983 when the Christians in the then Federal University of Technology, Yola (now, Modibbo Adama University, Yola), saw the need to come together for worship. The principal actors of this move were Mr. Lawrence Ude, Dr. S.O. Ale, Dr. R. Eni, Dr. J. Chuta, Mr. C. Owuama, Mr. J. N. Egila, and Mr. H. Nicodemus.

I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Gal 2:20
Mission
The principal aim of the Chapel is to provide a place of worship and a forum of interaction and fellowship for the salvation of the spirit, soul and body of man and evangelism.
We envision taking over the Campus and its environ for Jesus with the total Gospel. With misson;
- To make disciples and send them out into all the world.
- To prepare workers for the end time Church.
- To prepare God's children that are united in faith in Jesus Christ and are transformed into the image of Jesus Christ.
The Church
The Chapel is a non-denominational and an inter-denominational Church on campus. It is a place for worship, praise and prayers to God for student, staff and all around the University envelope.
Membership of the Chapel is opened to all Christians living within, around and beyond the University environment who wish to worship in the Chapel. Though it is a Protestant Church, the Chapel welcomes whosoever wishes to associate with her and worship God in spirit and in truth. A member is one who believes and accepts the article of faith and in whose day-to-day life is evidence of the new birth and is registered with the Church.
